I love it! :) The blues are great, and the style is very cool! I can imagine the style being used in an animation or even in a kid's book (a scary kid's book :)
great illustration Damien! I love the dark circles around the kids eyes, makes them look very sleepy and accentuates their weariness. I agree with Cheryl, it already seems on its way to becoming a kids book... I want to see more of those scared little kids peering under the bed, in the closet... finding a monster! eeeek!
damien, this image has prompted me to say: "Why the hell aren't you illustrating kids books???" I love this kind of artwork - it's kind of Lemony Snickety and I - and I just read the other two comments and realised that this isn't an original comment and that i should just stop now :)
